While Las Vegas has gone through the upswings and downswings of any real estate market and economic conditions, there are several reasons to be excited about buying property in Vegas. First, Las Vegas, by most historical standards, is a very young city, being founded in the early 1900’s. Visitors and locals driving around the city can still see large pockets of undeveloped land and new home developments being built all over the Las Vegas valley. While the Vegas area covers a very large geographic space, there is still a somewhat limited amount of room within the confines of the valley and in relation to the Las Vegas Strip. Secondly, there continues to be, by most estimates, roughly 5,000 people per month that are moving to the area. While this number has slowed from a handful of years ago, this is still growth at a very fast pace with comparison to other cities. Finally, Las Vegas continues, and as is its nature, to reinvent itself over and over throughout the years. By building new and bigger hotels every few years, and now adding condominiums along various sites on Las Vegas Boulevard, job growth in the area continues. With the addition of Encore, City Center, Echelon, Fontainebleau, and other large projects on the way, the population in Las Vegas is only expected to continue to grow at an astonishing clip.
